2 1/2" Discovery Series 2 Bodylift kit

This 2 1/2” body lift kit comes complete with the 12 main spacers holding the vehicles body to the chassis,  Automatic shifter cable kit, 2 radiator and intercooler raising extensions and brake line modifications for the front. The 2 1/2 ” White Tiger body lift kit also raises the front bumper bar or bull bar and the rear bumper by 2 1/2” to keep the bumpers in line with the body. This kit requires no welding, all components are bolted together with most components using existing holes but there are some holes to be drilled. A professional should fit this kit, but with the DIY instructions most can do the job allowing about 2 days for fitting.

A body lift kit increases the height of the body off the chassis.  By doing this there is increased distance between the top of the engine & gearbox.  More room for goodies!  But the main reason for the installation of a body lift kit it to increase the guard clearance to fit larger tyres.  Depending on the tyre size to be installed the use of the white tiger flares may also be required.

We have finally argued the position over and over to get a satisfactory engineering outcome to allow the fitment of body lifts and certain engine conversions to vehicles with SRS Airbags. This will alow the way forward to build the Discovery Series 2 the way we have proven builds to the RRC and Discovery Series 1.

This text is from the Discovery series 1 and Range Rover classic kit we currently manufacture.

This 2 1/2 ” body lift kit comes complete with the 14 main spacers holding the vehicles body with 8 of these diagonally supported back to the chassis, 2 radiator support extensions, gear stick extension, automatic shifter cable conversion and brake line modifications for the front and rear. The 2 1/2 ” White Tiger body lift kit also raises the front bumper bar or bull bar and rear bumper or rear bar by 2 1/2” to keep the front bumper in line with the body.
