A pair of 4mm steel plates to be permanently welded to the inside of the two chassis rails. The plates are welded to the rear of the engine mounts and run past the removable cross member by 100mm. The plate is shaped perfectly and has recesses to be fully welded giving a professional result. These plates are fitted to strengthen the front rails to stop them from bending upwards during heavy use. Check your chassis for signs of bending by running your hands along the chassis rails just in front of the removable cross member. Once fitted the removable cross member must be shortened by 8 to 10mm before it is refitted. The best time to fit this product is when the engine or gearbox has been removed from the vehicle.
